This book started out as a single chapter written and posted to my Facebook profile. The response to that single story was overwhelming and I continued to write and post a chapter a day for what ended up being a total of 70 days. Each story built on the last and brought the reader further into the lives of John and Sarah who lived alone in a small cove (Ben Batt's Cove) on Little Bay Islands, Newfoundland. Each morning, I would write a new chapter and post it to Facebook. What started out with a few readers turned into thousands who became enchanted with both the place and the characters in the story. Each chapter was commented on hundreds of times and "liked" by many, many more. The readers became participants in the story and helped me steer the direction of what is now, my first book.Although I wrote the words, I feel like this is very much a collaboration between me, the author, and those original readers.
