Introducing the Super tendard, a naval attack aircraft that entered service in 1978 and was operated from French aircraft carriers. A successor to the tendard IV M, developed in the 1960s by Dassault-Breguet, this improved variant features a single, compact engine - a more powerful SNECMA Atar 8K50 turbojet. With a top speed of Mach 1.3, it's armed with two 30mm DEFA cannons and six hardpoints for carrying rockets, missiles, or nuclear-tipped cruise missiles. It served on post-war French aircraft carriers like the Clemenceau and Charles de Gaulle.
