Trumpeter Ship Model Kit

HMS Dreadnought was a battleship of the Royal Navy that revolutionized naval power. Her entry into service in 1906 represented such a paradigm shift in naval technology that her name came to be associated with an entire generation of battleships, the "dreadnoughts", as well as the class of ships named after her. After the Battle of Jutland she was relegated to coastal defense duties in the English Channel, not rejoining the Grand Fleet until 1918. She was reduced to reserve in 1919 and sold for scrap two years later. Kit features 2-piece full hull, deck plank texture, detailed super structure, finely molded fittings, well detailed ship's boats, 12-pdr rapid fire guns, filigree masts and yardarms, display stand and engraved name plate, photo-etch parts (funnel grilles, braces, boat details, davits and more). Decals and 4-view color painting reference - includes jack and ensign. Completed kit is approximately 9.3" long
