Job Description
Location: Oniru, Lagos
Salary: 1.5m – 1.8m Plus per month (additional Commission & Performance related pay is attached)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm and Alternate Saturdays 9am to 6pm
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for leading the entire retail and wholesale sales units, as well as the Innovation & E-commerce business unit.
Job Objectives:

Spearhead strategy development initiatives for the wholesale business

Direct and manage the overall Wholesale business and associated operations

Plan sales programs to achieve business objectives
-
Participate in Sales management on a day-to-day basis
-
Drive the growth of the company-owned retail business outlets
-
Formulate retail strategy and direct overall retail business operations
Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Direct and supervise Sales Managers and other sales personnel
-
Assign territories and accounts for Sales Managers and the entire Wholesale Sales Team
-
Resolve customer problems and participate in important negotiations
-
Manage other individual contributors and/or managers
-
Own business goals and revenue objectives for the Retail and Innovation businesses
-
Direct and manage the work of the Head of Retail Operations and Head of Innovation/e-commerce
-
Increase sales revenue through appropriate strategies
-
Drive the adoption of analytics in e-commerce and retail business
-
Forecast sales and set performance goals
-
Work with marketing to implement in-bound marketing activities
-
Set directions for the company’s e-commerce front and back-end operations
-
Responsible for full P&L or contribution margin for sales

Assist in recruiting, training, and development of Sales unit managers and team members

Oversee assignment and re-assignment of Retail Outlet Managers
-
Implement a strategic talent management pipeline system
-
Instil a sales & service culture across all outlets and sales business units
Minimum Education Qualifications:
-
Master’s Degree
Required Experience:
-
10+ years of progressive, successful sales experience
-
3+ years of Sales Management experience
-
Field sales experience is a plus
-
Retail chain management experience is a plus
-
Experience with e-commerce and operational side of running an e-commerce business
-
Indirect Sales & Channel Sales Management experience
-
Experience with salesforce automation or CRM
