Employment Full Time
Location: Ikotun, Lagos state
Experience: 1 year
Salary: 50-60k
Qualification: ND/HND

Responsibilities:
– Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
– Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations and maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment.
– Develop and implement standardized recipes, portion sizes, and menu planning in collaboration with the head chef.
– Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
– Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet kitchen production demands while minimizing waste.
– Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs as necessary.
– Collaborate with restaurant management to develop and execute special menus and promotions.
– Enforce kitchen policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
– Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
– In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations best practices.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with kitchen staff, management, and vendors.
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
– Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
