Inventory Officer at Ikeja

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts, deliveries, and withdrawals.
  • Monitor inventory movements and identify discrepancies or shortages.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock and place orders as needed.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to verify accuracy and identify obsolete or expired items.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and optimize storage space.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to forecast demand and plan inventory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in handling and storing inventory items.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an inventory officer or similar role.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations is an advantage.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
